Our intensive one day training course has been specifically designed to teach you the fundamentals of precision application with the important inclusion of lash design styling though our trademark one on one training.  We go through the consultation process, the application procedure and the after-care advice required to be a top notch eyelash technician.

Entry to the Foundation Course requires no previous beauty background and welcomes anyone who has a passion for this treatment and who wants the best comprehensive type of training.  We do advise that good eyesight for close-up work is essential and a steady hand gives an excellent starting base in learning this intricate skill.

How long is the course?

Our Foundation Course is broken up over 3 days.  The first day is an intensive one on one training day.  The second day is taken a month later for the personal mentoring session and training on the infill procedure and the essential standard 4 LASHstyles.  The third day is your assessment, and this is taken when you have reached the required skill level to be a professional.

And what will I learn on this course?

You’ll start the course with some Pre-course Study, which is information you need to know before attending the course.  It will bring you up to speed so that you will get the best from the course. 

At the course we will discuss the Theory Education which is all the important bits that customers will ask you about.  We then crack on to the Practical Skill-building session and here you will learn all the important stuff, which if you get wrong will get you into bad habits and hinder your progression in being accurate and fast. 

After our lunch-break we get stuck in with our Hands-on Workshop.  This is when we put all our skills into practice with your trainer who is sat right next to you so you know you won’t get into problems.  And by the end of the session you will have the confidence to carry on with putting together your Portfolio and finally taking your Assessment.

This is really comprehensive, what do you cover in your Theory Education?

We have a wealth of information and are eager to pass this on to all our students.  We look at Lash Extension 101 which is the basics and then we look at the importance of Health & Safety and Sanitation & Hygiene – very important and often overlooked.  The Anatomy of the Eye is discussed and we focus on in detail the Contra-indications, that’s the suitability of the treatment to the client. 

The importance of Client Consultation is reviewed and we report on Products & Equipment a technician might use.  The 4 Basic Lash Styles is explained – our most informative and important element in developing the technician’s creative skills.  Learning how to provide a an infill and Removal is essential and we provide this in the practical element of the course.  We also discuss the importance of good Client Aftercare – because without good information to the client the treatment just won’t last.

Foundation Course - The Skinny

• Entry to the Foundation Course requires no previous beauty background however a steady hand and good eyesight is important. 
• The course looks at anatomy, hygiene, health & safety and contra-indications, to conducting a confident consultation and application, not forgetting how to provide excellent client aftercare. 
• Once certified all students are able to produce an accurate, neat and timely treatment.
