Our intensive one day training course has been specifically designed to teach you advanced application techniques with the important inclusion of eyelash texturing though our trademark one on one training.  We go through the key points, trouble-shooting, correctional application, lash decoration, business set-up with bottom lashes and 6 LASHstylesheets.  All this and our advice required to be a top notch eyelash technician.

Entry to the Advanced Course requires students to have completed the basic training with us or an eyelash extension course with another training provider who has a passion for this treatment and who wants the best comprehensive type of training by further development of their skill-sets.

How long is the course?

Our Advanced Course is an intensive one day with theory, skill-building and practical.

And what will I learn on this course?

You’ll start the course with some Pre-course evaluation, which is information your trainer needs to know to tailor the course to the student’s benefit.  This will enable the student to the get the best out of the course. 

We start the course by discussing the key points in application and trouble-shooting which is all the important bits you need to know.  We then crack on to the advanced application techniques session and here you will learn there is more than one way to apply an extension to a lash and what type of natural lash is best suited to each technique.  Not all natural eyelashes are the same and being able to apply extensions to EVERY natural lash is a skill on all of its own.  We also cover the intricate skills required to apply authentic real mink lashes – a popular masterclass at the LASHacademy.

We then cover the advanced eyelash texturing which takes standard lash treatments from a 2D to a 3D finish.  This is probably the most important part of your training.  Also covered is correctional eyelash application for clients with gaps in their lashes, or lashes growing in the wrong direction.  Added to this we supply 7 LASHstylesheets showing how to create designs such as ‘Glamour-minx’, ‘Angel’ and ‘Goddess’ looks.

Adding to your skills we advise on how to apply bottom lash extensions using the closed and open eye technique and touch base on lash decoration for the party season and special events your client’s may have.

After our lunch-break we get stuck in with our Hands-on Workshop.  This is when we put all our skills into practice with a model and put into practise all the new skills learnt.  And by the end of the session you will have a strong portfolio of skills to provide only the best treatments to your clients.

Business set-up is an important element if looking to expand and make a successful profitable business with these specialist skills.

To complete and receive the diploma we require a Portfolio showing the advanced LASHstylesheets.

We have a wealth of information and are eager to pass this on to all our students.  We look at Lash Extension 201 which is the techniques applied after learning the basics.  Structured into this is feathering, weaving, stacking and layering with advanced add-ons on these techniques.  We focus on how to create density, the most requested detail from clients!

The advanced LASHstyles is explained – our most informative and important element in developing the technician’s creative skills.  Learning how to provide bespoke looks is essential and we provide guidance on this in the practical element of the course.  We also discuss evolving the student’s skill-sets to create signature work.
